Please note all fittings that are 1-10v dimming require addition 2 core switch wiring, please seek advice from an electrician.
Please note we do not cover electrician costs for faulty, unsuitable items or items that are due to be delivered please ensure you book electrician once you have had your dispatch notification or goods received.
Manufacturer warranty varies from 1-5 year brand depending and coastal ranges up to 10 years, please email through the item codes to our sales team if you would like to check a product warranty, some LED products i.e., Searchlight fittings require warranties to be registered after the initial 1-year warranty.
Please note Majority of light fittings will require some assembly and we recommend installation by a qualified electrician.
Discount Codes on the website are subject to certain brands only. i.e., Main brands only and does not include Sale items that have already been heavily discounted, nor does it include lamps, sockets, switches, and accessories. Prices
Goods are charged at prices shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT (20%) , This applies to UK customers and those resident within the European Union (EU). Prices are correct at publication, errors and omissions are accepted. Orders will be accepted at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change or error in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. Any difference in price will need to be paid in full before the order is accepted. The Lighting Gallery has the right to refuse any orders, and should this happen, you will be advised and refunded in full.

Shipping, Delivery and Postage & Packing
All relevant postage and packing, shipping or delivery charges are included for all orders (UK Mainland, UK non-mainland and ROI are determined at checkout, T&Cs apply).
The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order. We aim to dispatch all orders within 7 days of the item being in stock but please allow up to 14 days. During busy times, or for bespoke orders, this timeframe may increase. A working day is any day other than weekends, bank, or public holidays. If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under The Lighting Gallery’s control, we will inform you as soon as possible.
We advise you book a qualified electrician to fit the lights once the goods have been received and not prior to this. We cannot be held responsible for any charges from electricians if goods arrive later than expected.
Please note our couriers require a signature for all deliveries therefore customers will need ensure someone is present at the delivery address on the agreed delivery day, we will send confirmation of delivery the day before delivery and courier will send time slot confirmation on the morning of delivery providing mobile number is present on your order.
Loss or Damaged Deliveries
Goods should be checked on receipt or be signed for as ‘unexamined’ and if cartons or external packaging shows signs of damage, they should be signed for as ‘received damaged’. Claims for shortages or damaged in transit should be notified in writing to the carrier and ourselves within 24 hours of receipt and in the case of non-delivery, within 48 hours of the date of delivery. Regrettably, claims not signed for as ‘received damaged’ or not notified to us within this period CANNOT BE ACCEPTED as we are unable to claim from the carrier.
Right of Cancellation (Distance Selling Regulations)
Distance Selling Regulations the customer is entitled to a full refund if they change their mind and cancel the order within 14 working days from the delivery date. It may take up to 28 days for this refund to be processed.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning them to The Lighting Gallery at your own cost. The items must be returned to The Lighting Gallery, Kiran House, 53 Park Royal Road, London, NW10 7LR.
You must take reasonable care to ensure the items are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
Once you have notified The Lighting Gallery that you are cancelling the contract, we will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the items. If you do not return the goods as required, The Lighting Gallery will charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the items.
Guarantee
The company's products are manufactured in accordance with the latest international standards. Components which develop faults, not caused by clients’ negligence, within the 12-month guarantee period will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Any replacement parts supplied may be chargeable and invoiced at full value pending return of faulty parts for testing. Faulty parts returned within 30 days of receipt of replacements may be credited in full dependent upon result of testing. Under no circumstances can the company accept liability for labour charges, out of pocket expenses or damage incurred by defects however caused.
Returns Policy
Please note we can only accept returns that are unfitted, unused, in original box, in a re-saleable condition and reported in writing via email within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Please note we will not accept goods back for a refund or an exchange if we are notified in writing after 14 working days of receiving the goods. A telephone call is not sufficient.

Faulty Goods
Please provide a basic inspection of the goods as soon as possible after delivery and report any faults in writing via email. A telephone call is not sufficient. If items are faulty at the consumer’s option The Lighting Gallery can send a spare part, replace the goods, refund the price of the goods, or offer an exchange. If a fault, breakage, damage, or shortage has been discovered upon checking the item after delivery please do not fit the goods.
Immediate replacements for damaged goods will be chargeable and credit will be issued on the return of the damaged goods to the company in the original packaging. Most goods have a manufacturing guarantee of 1 year. Please note the finish of outdoor lights is guaranteed for one year except within five miles of the coastline.
Manufacturing faults sent back within 6 months of purchase customer is entitled to a postage refund however you will need to send a proof of postage receipt. Faults outside 6 months the return postage is at the consumer's cost. A receipt or proof of purchase is needed for all returns and refunds.
If goods are delivered to another address after the delivery address, we shall not be held responsible for any breakages, defects or claims that either arise or can be reasonably assured to have risen during onward transit.
Reporting Faulty
Please ensure all goods have been inspected upon delivery. Please provide a basic inspection of the goods ideally within a few days of receiving the delivery to ensure you are happy with the goods you have purchased. There are no obvious breakages on delivery and no obvious faults or damages with the goods. You have received the correct goods you have ordered and there are no shortages.
